Resumo: It´s noteworthy that there are many contents in the field of biological knowledge that requires an abstract understanding of nature, making the teaching-learning process difficult. In this context, we choose one of the most abstract objects of knowledge in the field of Biology teaching, that are some concepts approached in Microbiology classes. The Abstraction is frequently seen in Microbiology classes especially because of the organisms’ dimension depicted there. In this sense, the objective was to contribute and facilitate the comprehension of the bacteria biology that forms the human intestinal microbiome, building less abstract Microbiology classes, therefore, more motivating by developing an educational application that estimulates researches on related microbiological concepts. After the creation of the bacterial Microbiology application, aiming at its analysis as a methodological resource that facilitates learning, as well as its validation, we developed research with a descriptive qualitative methodological approach, using a questionnaire prepared in Google Forms with 21 objective and subjective questions, wich were sent via link by messaging applications to 30 Biology teachers acting in the public schools of the State of Mato Grosso. The results showed that the collaborators of this research found a relevance of the topic addressed in the app and that the MicroBio Bactérias app marks a contribution that can facilitate the understanding of the bacterial biology that make up the intestinal microbiome based on investigative teaching.
