With the growing denunciations of violence and injustice in social relations, education thought “in” and “for” human rights becomes insurgent to the current system of teaching and learning. We need to establish a dialogue between the natural sciences and the social sciences, guaranteeing possibilities for scientific and attitudinal learning that permeate ethics in student education. For this, it is necessary to rethink the chemistry teacher model. In this essay, the authors sought to plan the possibilities of an informal educational game for teaching intermolecular interactions within the students' social context, contemplating important issues that may enable reflections on chemistry teaching and human rights education. This work is a theoretical essay that used the structural-functional analysis of important concepts for the formation of chemistry teachers as social, cultural and political agents. This is an intentional, transgressive and democratic process, interested in awakening in the teacher the awareness of the presence of asymmetries in social relations, so that it can lead to a constant search for equity.
