AURORA OF PHYSICS TEACHERS ABOUT TEACHING TO DEVELOP PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN THE TRAINING OF TECHNICIANS

This article presents the results of the study that had the objective of verifying some of the implications in the initial formation and professional performance of Physics teachers regarding the development of Professional Skills in the teaching performance, within the scope of the technical disciplines of the course of Electronics that have Physics As a foundation science. The study was justified by the relevance of the professional skills in the development of professional competences indispensable to the performance and permanence of technicians in the labor market. Through these lenses, we investigated physics teachers who teach technical subjects in the Electrical and Electronics course and undergraduate students in Physics of a public institution in the region. For the former, the interview technique was used for content analysis. For the latter, the questionnaire structured for analysis by means of a social scale that offered a ranking of answers on the categories. The technique of analyzing legal documents on skills was used. The results indicate superficiality in initial teacher training, teaching practice and legal documents on professional skills and abilities. They point out the absence of systematization for their development in teaching, which suggests investigations of methods, didactics, strategies, proposals, among others that offer ways to overcome these limitations.
