Resumo: The present study aimed to analyze the process of didactic transposition of scientific articles in cordel as a proposal for scientific dissemination. This study is the result of the construction of dynamic and diversified strategies to disseminate science in the Professional Master's degree in Science Teaching of the State University of Roraima. The methodological procedures include the didactic transposition of 7 (seven) scientific articles for the cordel literature format on the themes: malaria transmission, peppers grown in the State of Roraima, the Lavrado of Serra da Lua in the State of Roraima, skin cancer, the chemical element Arsenic in water, the Prospector and Mercury and Science & Technology on Brazilian TV. The activity was developed with an audience of 14 master's students, who initially participated in the discussion about the history, concepts, examples and norms for the elaboration of cordel and individual production from the perspective of scientific dissemination and possibility for these master's students to also develop this technique with their students in the classroom. For data collection, it was performed an analysis of the cordel produced, a questionnaire with four (4) questions opened through Google Forms and use of logbooks was applied. The results indicate the possibility of using Cordel Literature in the pedagogical practice of master's students as teachers, revealing their pleasurable, playful and interdisciplinary potential, besides allowing a reflection on the importance of a greater insertion of the cordel literature approach in the initial and continuous education of teachers.
