This paper looks at making an analysis by intertwining the environment, citizenship and political commitment, in order to demonstrate that these questions are also related to social problems, principally housing problems, the problems arising from social inequality and finally the urgent need to elaborate a proposal for government policies that can develop short, medium and long term actions for the containment of environmental damage as well as provide better living conditions to the most needy, principally those that, for some reason, settle in environmentally at risk areas that also put their lives at risk. The analysis carried out considers as an essential element the problem involving society and the environment from a philosophical perspective centered on the idea that a State action based on the principal of justice that considers the life of a man and nature as an inalienable right, in an approach in which we highlight the necessity for the integration of man and nature in such a way that it becomes clear that natural life just as human life are in an interdependent relationship.
