Resumo: | The social isolation resulting from the new coronavirus has changed the ways of working in schools and universities, imposing an exercise in the re-signification of the teaching identity. Digital technologies, formerly underused in the field of education, have been responsible for the continuity of academic/school calendars, providing opportunities for the development of new knowledge by teachers. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to map the challenges and difficulties experienced by teachers from public schools and universities in Amazonas through a questionnaire. For this, exploratory research was conducted with 46 teachers from the public sphere, working in Kindergarten, Elementary School, High School, Professional Education and Higher Education. The results contribute to the understanding of the “new” scenario of public education in Amazonas, showing that the lack of continuing education in digital technologies, the limitations of networking and the slow return of student learning are the main difficulties arising from this remote experience. The conclusions infer the need for investments in the educational sphere, both in technological resources and in teacher training, in addition, remote teaching has required the adoption of a technological culture that is still taking its first steps in society, especially in Amazonas. |
