Resumo: Games are important for special education, because, when adapted to the teaching-learning process, they allow cultural content and scientific knowledge to be address in a playful and entertaining, way with challenges and overcoming. Our goal was to use games as pedagogical support to arouse interest in learning mathematics in special education students. This research was carried out in two different moments, with activities at a municipal school and tourist spots of the city of Manaus. Fourteen students with special needs (autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disability) from the 3rd phase of special education for young people and adults participated in this qualitative and descriptive research. Therefore, we selected, adapted, and reformulated math games according to the reality and needs of students. To that end, we used complementary techniques like rounds of conversation, didactic sequence, and guided visits. The pedagogical proposal provided a range of knowledge, stimulating their logical and mathematical thinking, by mean of simple calculations and broad development of cognitive, motor, and social affective skills, which contributed to the teaching-learning process. We noticed the educational potential of the use of math games with education spaces outside school. This means, the exploration of the tourist spots visited that enriched the students' learning in mathematics.
