AN ANALYSIS OF THE PERCEPTIONS OF ACADEMIC STUDENTS ON THE EVALUATION OF THE TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS IN ON-CLASS COURSES FOR BACHELOR'S DEGREES IN MATHEMATICS IN RONDÔNIA

Resumo: The current study is an excerpt from a Master's research in Mathematics Education at the Federal University of Rondônia. In this clipping, the objective was to highlight the perceptions of academics about how the evaluation of teaching and learning processes occurs in the classroom of undergraduate Mathematics courses at public HEIs in Rondônia. This is a research with a qualitative approach and a field modality, being carried out with four undergraduate Mathematics courses, two offered by the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR), at Ji-Paraná and Porto Velho campuses, and two offered by the Federal Institute of Science and Technology of Rondônia (IFRO), at Cacoal and Vilhena campuses. Fourteen academics from the aforementioned courses participated in the research. For data production, semi-structured interviews were used. Among the results, it was possible to verify that the academics scored differences in the evaluation carried out in the didactic-pedagogical and specific curricular components, evidencing that in the specific components predominated a punctual and classificatory evaluation, being privileged the test with one of the evaluative instruments. Regarding the didactic-pedagogical components, the academics mentioned that there was a diversity of instruments and techniques used by the teachers of the referred components in the evaluation process.

En este recorte, el objetivo fue resaltar las percepciones de los académicos sobre cómo ocurre la evaluación de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje en los cursos presenciales de Licenciatura en Matemáticas en las IES públicas de Rondônia. Se trata de una investigación con enfoque cualitativo y modalidad de campo, siendo realizada con cuatro cursos de Licenciatura en Matemática, dos ofrecidos por la Universidad Federal de Rondônia (UNIR) en los campus de Ji-Paraná y Porto Velho, y dos ofrecidos por el Instituto Federal de Ciencia y Tecnología de Rondônia (IFRO) en los campus de Cacoal y Vilhena. Catorce académicos de los cursos antes mencionados participaron en la investigación. Para la producción de datos se utilizó entrevista semiestructurada. Destacamos, como resultado del análisis realizado, que los académicos anotaron diferencias en la evaluación realizada en los componentes didáctico-pedagógico y curricular específico. Evidenciando indicios de que en los componentes específicos predominó una evaluación puntual y clasificadora, privilegiando la prueba con uno de los instrumentos evaluativos. En cuanto a los componentes didáctico-pedagógicos, los académicos mencionaron que existió diversidad de instrumentos y técnicas utilizadas por los docentes de los referidos componentes en el proceso de evaluación.O presente estudo decorre de uma pesquisa de Mestrado em Educação Matemática do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Matemática (PPGEM) da Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR), Campus de Ji-Paraná. Neste recorte, objetivou-se evidenciar as percepções dos acadêmicos sobre como ocorre a avaliação do ensino-aprendizagem nos cursos presenciais de Licenciatura em Matemática de IES públicas de Rondônia. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa e de modalidade de campo, realizada com quatro cursos de Licenciatura em Matemática, sendo dois ofertados pela Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR), nos campi de Ji-Paraná e Porto Velho, e dois ofertados pelo Instituto Federal de Ciência e Tecnologia de Rondônia (IFRO), nos campi de Cacoal e Vilhena. Participaram da pesquisa 14 acadêmicos dos referidos cursos. Para a produção de dados, foi utilizado entrevista semiestruturada. Dentre os resultados, foi possível verificar que os acadêmicos pontuaram diferenças na avaliação realizada nos componentes curriculares didáticos-pedagógicos e específicos, evidenciando indícios de que nos componentes específicos predominou uma avaliação pontual e classificatória, sendo privilegiada a prova com um dos instrumentos avaliativos.
