Resumo: Understanding the importance of gender discussions and women’s in science, this article proposes, from a feminist perspective, to presente the history of some scientists, especially the first women accepted in western universities. The present study has a theoretical character and aims to analyze some aspects and periods of scientific construction, as a way of highlighting the process of exclusion and invisibility of scientists in the highlighted periods. It is salutary to point out that the choice for the feminist approach to the historical analysis of science was mainly due to the political, social and intersectional character of feminist movements. From the above, it was possible to verify the contradiction in the ideals of neutrality, objectivity and exemption from political/religious, on which the scientific construction was based, especially in terms of gender discussions. Faced with a scientific construction that made invisibilized and excluded scientists, in addition to having their knowledge appropriated, Science still remains within misogynistic and sogregating parameters. Therefore, this research proposes the urgency of reflections and gender discussions in scientific communities.

El presente estudio tiene un carácter teórico y tiene como objetivo analizar algunos aspectos y períodos de la historia de la construcción científica, como una forma de evidenciar el proceso de exclusión e invisibilidad de los científicos en los períodos destacados. Es saludable señalar que la elección por el enfoque feminista del análisis histórico de la ciencia se debió principalmente al carácter político, social e interseccional de los movimientos feministas. Con base en lo anterior, fue posible verificar la contradicción en los ideales de neutralidad, objetividad y exención de posiciones político-religiosas, en los que se basó la construcción científica, especialmente em cuanto a las discusiones de género. Frente a una construcción científica que invisibiliza, deslegitima y excluye a los científicos, además de apropiar sus saberes, la ciencia aún se mantiene dentro de parámetros misóginos y segregadores. Por lo tanto, esta investigación propone la urgencia de reflexiones y discusiones de género en las comunidades científicas.Compreendendo a importância das discussões de gênero e das mulheres na ciência, o presente artigo propõe, a partir de um olhar feminista, apresentar a história de algumas cientistas, em especial as primeiras mulheres aceitas nas universidades ocidentais. O presente estudo possui um caráter teórico e tem por objetivo analisar alguns aspectos e períodos da história da construção científica, como forma de evidenciar o processo de exclusão e invisibilização das cientistas nos períodos em destaque. É salutar destacar que a escolha pela abordagem feminista para a análise histórica da ciência se deu, especialmente, pelo caráter político, social e interseccional dos movimentos feministas. A partir do exposto, foi possível constatar a contradição nos ideais de neutralidade, objetividade e isenção de posicionamentos políticos/religiosos, ao qual a construção científica se baseou, em especial no que cerne as discussões de gênero. Diante de uma construção científica que invisibilizou, deslegitimou e excluiu as cientistas, além de terem tido seus saberes apropriados, a ciência ainda hoje permanece dentro de parâmetros misóginos e segregadores.
