CULTURE MEDIA AND SCIENTIFIC LITERACY: CONTRIBUTIONS IN TEACHING-LEARNING PROCESS

In this work, we make a discussion of the emergence of media culture and the use of New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and their contribution to scientific literacy process of children. Still we approach possibilities for the educational process, as well as conceptions about the process of Interactivity and Didactic Transposition. The study is the theoretical basis of a survey that is running process in the Graduate Program in Education and Science Education in the Amazon - PPGEEC, the University of the State of Amazonas - UEA. Has bibliographic and focuses on research through surveys in articles, books, periodicals and works of experts addressing the issue in question. We can consider that given the current scenario, the school should design its actions towards forming critical citizens and skills inherent in media society, seeking to adopt new ways of teaching that takes into account the own knowledge of the student.
