O uso de websites como ferramenta metodológica para o ensino interativo de genética mendeliana no ensino médio

Facing the difficulties presented by the students of basic education in relation to learning the content mendelian genetics, this work came with the aim to search mechanisms to minimize the deficit in the process of teaching and learning of this theme. To work with genetics in high school has always been a challenge to biology teachers, since the books approach the topics in a not too attractive way, without practices and problematic which allow an investigative look by the students. Thus, the assimilation of the content is compromised and to find a methodology that arises the curiosity and makes the teaching of genetics pleasurable is the only alternative for the teacher. What is most common in the last few years is the interaction of the teenager with the virtual world, either playing games or the participation in social networks. The use of tools of internet, such as interactive websites, blogs, digital magazines and online games, can be a way to heal the difficulty and the disinterest of the students, because they are used to the digital world and dominate these tools with ease. We selected three websites to the application of the methodology, these pages were chosen taking into consideration the interactivity degree that would be provided to the participants. According to the analysis, it was possible to notice that the use of the websites as a teaching tool was positively meaningful, since the students had a better performance in the activities related to mendelian genetics after the use of such tools. This research was done with students of the 3rd year of High School, of the State School Doctor Estevão Alves Corrêa, Cuiabá, MT. The results here obtained culminated in the production of a didactic guide to the teachers.
