Breast cancer stands out as being the second most frequent in the world and the most common among women accounting for almost 25% of all cancer cases. Confirmation of this disease and its treatment can interfere directly in the lifestyle of people and consequently the quality of life. Objective: To evaluate the overall quality of life of women in rehabilitation from breast cancer who attend the Integral Rehabilitation Center Dom Aquino Corrêa de Cuiabá, Mato Grosso. Methodology: This is an analytical research with crosssectional design. The population consisted of 70 women denizens of Dom Aquino Corrêa Rehabilitation Center for post diagnosis of breast cancer rehabilitation. For data collection was used the demographic and socio-economic characterization instruments like the SF 36 and WHOQOL-BREF to assess quality of life. Results: There was a predominance of the age group 50 to 59 years, brown color, education up to eight years, with a partner, and had one or two children and a family income of two minimum salaries. More than half of the women had already entered menopause and had a history with breast cancer, most reported no physical activities. Through multiple regression analysis calculating the variables that most affected the domain overall quality of life scores were: the psychological domain of the WHOQOLBREF physical aspect of the SF-36, hormone replacement, general health of the SF-36 and breast feeding. Conclusions: The results of this study showed the importance of women to know it self and the factors and the scores that most affect their quality of life so that they can take action to improve their health condition and consequently their quality of life.
