Large expanses of areas are occupied by monocultures, and the remaining forest fragments are inserted into them, which shelter many ecological communities. These fragments are susceptible to outside interference, whether manmade or natural. That said, the aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of the use of a soil with farming on soil fertility of a forest fragment. The experimental design was completely randomized with two treatments and four replications. The soil sampling was conducted in two seasons (dry and wet) in which samples were collected in a transect out of agriculture and into the fragment. 11 points were collected at intervals of 5 m, as follows: 5 points in the area under cultivation (C), 1 in the interface (I) and 5 in the forest fragment area (F). At each sampling point, three samples were taken at depths 0 to 0.10 , 0.10 to 0.20 and 0.20 to 0.40 m. Soil fertility was assessed through the levels of organic matter (MO) , pH , Al3+, potential acidity, aluminum saturation, Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, sum of bases, base saturation, P, effective CTC and CTC in pH 7.0. The data were subjected to analysis of variance (F test) and average test (Scott - Knott, p > 0.05).There was influence of the use of the agricultural land on the soil fertility of the forest fragment
