Resumo: | This research was carried out at the master's degree Post Education Program at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, in the state of Mato Grosso, in Brazil. It’s study object is Professor Oliva Enciso: her life and career for education. This study aims at recording the trajectory of Professor Oliva Enciso, who held the positions of first councilwoman in the city of Campo Grande, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul from the years of 1954 to 1958 and the first state deputy in Mato Grosso from 1959 to 1963. This research counted on a methodology of qualitative type. The used method was Prosopography. This study is divided into chapters: The first one was titled as "Who was she? What did Oliva Enciso do?" which includes the biography of Olivia Enciso and her entrance into public space, as well as, the construction of her social recognition as an educator. The second chapter was named as "The creation of philanthropy and the orphanage" outlines the history of Philanthropy and the Orphanage managed by Oliva Enciso. The third chapter was titled as: "The writings of Oliva Enciso" exposes some literary productions, part of her memories. In chapter four named as: "Professor Oliva Enciso at the politics" describes her parliamentary performance. At the final conclusions, it was brought out some questions which still need to be reflected at the life story of Oliva Enciso and it was also reaffirmed how important she was for the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul. The development of the discussions presented in this study counted on the theoretical and methodological bases according memory perspective of the following authors: Bosi (1994), Halbwachs (2006), Bobbio (1997), Ricouer (2007) and Le Goff (1996). The gender subjects were guided by the authors: Perrot (1998), Priore (2015), Louro (2014), Beauvoir (2009), Saffioti (2013) among others. |

Tem como temática Professora Oliva Enciso: vida e carreira pela educação. O objetivo principal da pesquisa foi registrar a trajetória da professora Oliva Enciso que exerceu os cargos de primeira vereadora em Campo Grande - MS de 1954 a 1958 e de primeira deputada estadual em Mato Grosso de 1959 a 1963. A metodologia utilizada para a coleta de dados foi a qualitativa, o método foi o da Prosopografia. A presente pesquisa divide-se em capítulos: O primeiro “Quem foi e o que fez Oliva Enciso” em que consta a biografia de Olivia Enciso e seu ingresso no espaço público e a construção do seu reconhecimento social enquanto professora. O segundo capítulo “A criação da filantropia e o orfanato” delineia a história da Filantropia e do Orfanato administrado por Oliva Enciso. Terceiro capítulo: “As escritas de Oliva Enciso” expõe algumas produções literárias, parte das memórias de Oliva Enciso. No capítulo quatro “a professora Oliva Enciso na política” descreve a atuação parlamentar da professora Oliva Enciso. Nas considerações finais retomamos algumas questões que ainda precisam ser refletidas na história de vida de Oliva Enciso e reafirmamos o quanto fora importante para Mato Grosso e Mato Grosso do Sul.
