Resumo: This study presents the results of a phenomenological research, focused on environmental education, expressing the relationship between nature and culture through artistic practices of the communities of Joselândia, Northern Pantanal, district of the municipal Barão de Melgaço in Mato Grosso – Brazil. Formational-apprentice of the Environmental Education Art was applied, starting from the eco-systemic links of the pantaneira canoemade by the masters, followed by scientific learning. The study was based on the work of Gaston Bachelard (Phenomenology of the image and imagination), Michèle Sato (Imaginary mapping for research in environmental education), Paulo Freire (Popular Education), Michèle Sato (Environmental Education) and An Mae Barbosa (Art Education).The main goals of our comprehensive course were to seek possibilities to reopen the dialogue between nature and culture; composing a systemic cartography using artistic cultural ways of ecosystem services and to weave connections between art and science, two study fields still separated. Understanding the story of the pantaneira canoe, in the context of the established relationships of the Northern Pantanal, High Paraguay Basin, with its complex water dynamics, enabled the birth of poetic artistic-scientific images, and helped promoting the understanding of the relationship between Art and Science.The modern tradition is showing division, not allowing new possibilities of complementary dialogues, discharging the power of objectivity in the de-powering of subjectivity, seeking for differences, carving out inequalities, exclusions, invisibilities, therefore, injustice and unsustainability. While revealing the desired understandings, this study opened important pathways for the educational, scientific and daily contemporarily work. The research set up a creative sensitive education, essential for human formation in all areas, in particular for environmental issues, the need for environmental education in all the areas of human relations, including in science, claiming to super act the divisions brought by modern thought, transcending in search of gaps, in search of dialogue, in search of complementarities. In the case of this research the main goal was to seek for complementarity between Nature and Culture, as well as, Science and Art, in the attempt to achieve necessary reinvention and so contributing to the improvement of the existing social and environmental problems. This study - in the context of sensible, critical and creative Environmental Education with responsibility and compromises - is considered a significant reference for research, for governments and societies in general. When considering public policies in socio-cultural ways one should ally the socioenvironmental to compose the decision making that form policies and Science policies in the post-Modern times.

Uma pesquisa que trilhou pelo caminho formativo-aprendiz da Arte Educação Ambiental partindo das ligações ecossistêmicas da canoa pantaneira feita pelos Mestres canoeiros, seguindo para as aprendizagens científicas. Para tal, apoiou-se em Gaston Bachelard (Fenomenologia da Imagem e da Imaginação), em Michèle Sato (Cartografia do Imaginário para Pesquisa em Educação Ambiental), em Paulo Freire (Educação Popular), Michèle Sato (Educação Ambiental) e em Ana Mae Barbosa (Arte Educação). O percurso compreensivo foi bordado pelos objetivos que se compuseram por buscar possibilidades para reabrir o diálogo entre Natureza e Cultura; compor uma cartografia sistêmica pelo viés artístico cultural dos serviços ecossistêmicos e tecer ligações entre Arte e Ciência, esferas ainda dicotomizadas. Compreender o fio sistêmico da canoa pantaneira mergulhada no contexto das relações estabelecidas com o Pantanal Norte, Bacia do Alto Paraguai com as suas águas chegantes na atualidade, permitiu o nascer de imagens artísticas poética-científicas, promovedoras da compreensão da relação Arte e Ciência. A tradição moderna assentou dicotomias que não permitem o brotar possibilidades da complementariedade-dialogantes, desembocando na potencia da objetividade na despotencialização da subjetividade, tracejando diferenças, esculpindo desigualdades, exclusões, invisibilidades, portanto, injustiças e insustentabilidades. O estudo ao revelar as compreensões almejadas, abriu caminhos importantes para a contemporaneidade educacional, científica e cotidiana. A pesquisa desenhou uma educação sensível criativa como indispensável à formação humana em todos os âmbitos, em especial para as questões ambientais que estampam com palheta forte, a necessidade de uma Educação Ambiental em todas as estâncias de atuação-relações humanas, inclusive na Ciência, clamando por superações das dicotomias instauradas pelo pensamento moderno, transcendendo em busca de brechas, em busca de diálogos, em busca de complementariedades. No caso desta pesquisa a busca foi pela complementariedade entre Natureza e Cultura, bem como, Ciência e Arte no intento de alcançar reinvenções necessárias na expectativa de contribuir com a superação dos problemas sociais e ambientais existentes.
