Percepção dos atores sociais do turismo no Pantanal de Poconé/MT sobre o pulso de inundação

The Pantanal is the largest plain of continuous flood the planet. The periodic cycle of drought and flood, also called flood pulse, is one of the factors governing the functioning and biodiversity of the Pantanal, it now favors animal and plant species related to drought phase, now favors the species related to phase full. These conditions, combined with scenic beauty, are great allies to tourism in the region. The objective of this study was to analyze how the flood pulse can influence tourism in the Pantanal of Poconé. The research is subject to the interested parties, ie the stakeholders of the Mato Grosso Pantanal. The study was conducted in two stages: data collection in the field and the textual development and compilation of the data obtained. The first stage of the research focused on the identification of key stakeholders involved in tourism, in inns and hotels along the Pocone Pantanal access roads and also the local community who were somehow related to the development of such activities. This identification was made through recorded interviews, which were later transcribed. The questionnaire included open questions. In this sense, were identified through 37 interviews, the following stakeholders in the Pantanal of Poconé: pousadeiros, foreign tourists, Brazilian tourists, fishermen, agents and tour guides and riverine. When asked about the application of laws and the main environmental impacts suffered, 98% say that the application of laws is very faulty. The inspection does not meet the demand and campaigns carried out by the government are rare. For 60% of respondents the most important player currently in the Pantanal are pousadeiros own, because they are directly interested in the preservation and conservation of natural resources. 20% also point out local farmers, extensive cattle ranching, as the most relevant decision makers of the region.10% highlight the fauna of the region as the main actor of the Pantanal currently. For nature is a source of income for the local. 70% of respondents said there was no conflict between the parties, but also point out that there is no kind of cooperation. In contrast, 30% say there is little conflict between farmers and pousadeiros as jaguars, that when they attack cattle are slaughtered, impairing the availability of animals for assessing the tourists. The flood pulse exerts a strong influence on the tourist use because governs the life cycle and reproduction of various animal species that are the main attractions for tourists.
