Perfil sociodemográfico e clínico de indivíduos com depressão e ansiedade no Norte do Mato Grosso

Resumo: | Depression and anxiety disorders are chronic and recurrent psychiatric illnesses characterized by changes in the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine, which consequently produce a change in mood, anhedonia, associated with symptoms of pain, extreme tiredness, low self-esteem, irritability, anxiety and sleep and appetite disorders in depression, while in anxiety disorder the most common symptoms are: fatigue, tremors, muscle tension, nausea, diarrhea, irritability, sleep disturbance Depression in Brazil affects 5.8% of the population and in anxiety disorders represents 9.3%. In addition, approximately 800,000 people die each year from suicide. Objective: To describe the sociodemographic and clinical profile of users of a Psychosocial Care Center (CAPS) with depression and anxiety, in addition to evaluating their relationship with other comorbidities and pharmacological treatment. Material and methods: This is an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional and documentary study through the analysis of medical records of users diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorders in a Psychosocial Care Center in the North of Mato Grosso (CAPS). The research was developed by reading, collecting and tabulating the data described in the medical records. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test for association between variables using Fisher's exact test with Yates correction in the Spss software version 2.0. In all cases, a significance level for rejection of the null hypothesis of 5% (p<0.05) was established. This work was submitted to the evaluation of the Ethics Committee for Research with Human Beings and approved under the opinion number 4,214,600, respecting all ethical precepts for research with human beings. Results: In the description of the sociodemographic profile of users, a prevalence of females in depressive and anxiety disorders was identified, with the predominant age group ranging from 35 to 44 years old and 25 to 34 years old, respectively; the predominant marital status was married or in a stable union; with regard to education, complete secondary education prevails in depressive disorders and incomplete primary education in anxiety disorders; and with regard to occupation, most reported during the service with the CAPS professional that they were working. In addition, it observed the presence of comorbidities in users with these mental disorders, such as: leprosy, DM2, SAH, dyslipidemia, fibromyalgia, AIDS, heart disease, among others. Conclusion: The development of this study was relevant in describing the sociodemographic profile of the CAPS for the development of strategies that can improve the treatment and prognosis of CAPS users, in addition to the development of tools for organizing the service. |

A depressão no Brasil afeta 5,8% da população e nos transtornos ansiosos representa 9,3%. Além disso, aproximadamente 800 mil pessoas morrem no ano por suicídio. Objetivo: Descrever o perfil sociodemográfico e clínico dos usuários de um Centro de Atendimento Psicossocial (CAPS) com depressão e ansiedade, além de avaliar a relação dessas com outras comorbidades e o tratamento farmacológico. Material e métodos: Trata-se de um estudo observacional, descritivo, transversal e documental por meio da análise de prontuários de usuários com diagnóstico de transtornos de depressão e ansiedade de um Centro de Atenção Psicossocial do Norte do Mato Grosso (CAPS). A pesquisa desenvolveu-se com a leitura, coleta e tabulação dos dados descritos nos prontuários. Os dados foram analisados pelo teste do Qui-quadrado para associação entre as variáveis pelo Teste exato de Fisher com correção de Yates no software Spss versão 2.0. Em todos os casos, foi estabelecido um nível de significância para rejeição da hipótese de nulidade de 5% (p<0,05). Este trabalho foi submetido à avaliação do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa em Seres Humanos e aprovado com número do parecer 4.214.600, respeitaando todos os preceitos éticos de pesquisa com seres humanos. Resultados: Na descrição do perfil sociodemográfico dos usuários, identificou-se uma prevalência do sexo feminino nos transtornos depressivos e ansiosos, sendo a faixa etária predominante variando entre 35 a 44 anos e 25 a 34, respectivamente; o estado civil predominante foi casado ou união estável; no que se refere à escolaridade prevalece o ensino médio completo nos transtornos depressivos e o ensino fundamental incompleto nos transtornos de ansiedade; e no que diz respeito à ocupação, a maioria relatou durante o atendimento com o profissional do CAPS que estava trabalhando. Além disso, observou a presença de comorbidades nos usuários com estes transtornos mentais, como: hanseníase, DM2, HAS, dislipidemias, fibromialgia, SIDA, cardiopatias, entre outras.
