Resumo: | The aim of this dissertation is to investigate the educational and sociocultural contributions of the Pandorga da Lua project to the popularization of art, particularly music, from the perspective of its authors and participants. Specifically, the study sought to understand music as a language based on historical-cultural theory; describe the concept and history of the Pandorga da Lua project, highlighting its cultural participation and activities in schools in Santa Maria/RS; identify the project's scope of activity and future prospects. The methodological design, emphasizing the critical dialectical epistemological paradigm, is qualitative and descriptive in nature. Nine participants were interviewed (the two authors of the Pandorga da Lua project, five musicians and actors, the cultural producer of the project, and a music specialist) who responded to questions developed by the researcher. Thematic narrative was used for the authors, semi-structured interviews for the cultural producer, and online questionnaires via email or WhatsApp for the other participants. Data analysis is based on Bardin's (2015) content analysis technique. The theoretical review, which comprises the first chapter, covers Vygotsky's historical-cultural theory as the epistemological basis for this study. It also addresses art education, particularly music, in the concept of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). The second chapter describes the research methodology and its developments; the third chapter describes the Pandorga da Lua project; and in the fourth chapter, the research results and study discussion are presented based on a timeline developed from the main events related to Pandorga da Lua. The analysis conducted revealed that the Pandorga's work proposal meets the BNCC guidelines, as the produced show covers the curricular component "Art and its languages" in the precept of Integrated Arts, combining visual arts, music, dance, and theater. Regarding historical-cultural theory, it is considered that Pandorga da Lua establishes an important connection with Vygotsky's postulations, as this theory presupposes a social nature of learning. Therefore, it is concluded that the Pandorga da Lua project contributes to the popularization of art by reaching varied audiences in different locations, combining spectacle, music, and art in an educational and sociocultural perspective. |

Therefore, it is concluded that the Pandorga da Lua project contributes to the popularization of art by reaching varied audiences in different locations, combining spectacle, music, and art in an educational and sociocultural perspective. Submitted by Clarice Rosa Machado (clarice.machado@ufn.edu.br) on 2023-05-30T13:38:03Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertacao_MarceloSchaedlerMassario_Tede.pdf: 1785168 bytes, checksum: 77e399f3706c9397624e1db1d8b816bd (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2023-05-30T13:38:03Z (GMT).
