Resumo: Introduction: labor and delivery are remarkable transformations and adaptations in women's lives, and planning this moment in advance can contribute to a more conscious, healthy and safe delivery. Objective: to identify and understand the perception of pregnant women who attend basic health units in the city of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul about labor and delivery and to create a web portal that informs pregnant women about labor and delivery. Methodology: this study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Universidade Franciscana (number 4,705,201, with certificate of presentation of ethical appreciation (44779921.2.0000.5306). In the first phase, a qualitative study was carried out with pregnant women who underwent prenatal care in the public health service of the city of Santa Maria, RS, Brazil. Data collection was carried out through flexible interviews in a private room that were audio recorded and later transcribed. Socio demographic and socio economic questions were also asked to assess the profile of the interviews were carried out until data saturation. In the second phase, the technical product was created, a software/didactic material in the educational portal modality, also called a web portal to inform pregnant women about labor and delivery of graphic designer, to create the logo that represents the product. The Web Portal was made with information segmented by categories, facilitating access to the desired content. For this, a specialized company was hired. The product has the ability to identify the accesses made to it, allowing researchers to monitor it. Results: twenty pregnant women were interviewed, all with a gestational age above 27 weeks. Saturation occurred in the 20th interview. Four themes emerged from the interviews: lack of knowledge about the subject, empirical knowledge, feelings experienced and preference for normal delivery. From this result and, corroborating with active methodologies, which are triggers for reflection on the theme, the web portal -Pregnant do zap was created, which are accessed through the links https://gestantedozap.com.br/ Final considerations: through qualitative research, it was possible to perceive the lack of knowledge about the preparation for childbirth and the concept of normal childbirth. The pregnant women attributed part of their knowledge to previous experiences, the experiences of relatives, friends and information obtained through social media. Many feelings emerged when talking about labor and delivery, such as expectations for the moment of birth, insecurity, anxiety, nervousness, fear of the unknown and obstetric violence. Through the product, an impact is expected on the preparation of pregnant women for childbirth, as well as on obstetric practice, providing improvements in the quality of care, contributing to prenatal care through guidance and knowledge on the themes worked, always respecting the autonomy of the woman during the birth process and the Sustainable Development Goals. Technical/technological product: The web portal Gestante do Zap is an education technology that informs pregnant women about labor and delivery, articulating education and health. The use of the same can strengthen the knowledge on the subject being a strategy/tool that can be used by health professionals to discuss, reflect and guide on the subject.

Submitted by Clarice Rosa Machado (clarice.machado@ufn.edu.br) on 2022-11-18T13:21:34Z No. of bitstreams: 4 Dissertacao_ElisaSampaioVonMuhlen_SemAssinaturas.pdf: 4150495 bytes, checksum: e478bf0168251f2d668208e3cd8c13f4 (MD5) Template_ElisaSampaioVonMuhlen.pdf: 1974162 bytes, checksum: 7bbcfd12dfc77c864c0813f1a364c21a (MD5) Dissertacao_ElisaSampaioVonMuhlen_VersaoParcial.pdf: 3659082 bytes, checksum: 95bff490880d404d8151c5d0e1231bea (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2022-11-18T13:21:34Z (GMT).
