Resumo: The present research has as general objective to investigate the potential of an artifact, built based on the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Design-Based Research (PBD), to promote the articulation between the knowledge of the Natural Sciences. The research was developed with students of the first year of High School of a private school located in a city in the central region of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and counted on the partnership of the professors of the disciplines of Biology, Physics and Chemistry of the referred school, who were part of researchers group. The theoretical framework that supported this research is divided into three topics. The first refers to Design-Based Research, since it is the theoretical-methodological option that guided the work. The other two topics are the Fragmentation of Knowledge in Natural Sciences and Interdisciplinarity, since they refers to the research problem identified with teachers in the context of the school. The methodological procedures were carried out according to the phases of the DBR: identification of the problem by the researchers (teachers, researcher and school community), theoretical analysis of the problem and construction of an artifact that seeks to solve the problem, intervention in practice with the application of the developed artifact, and evaluation of the process as to the effectiveness of solving the initial problem, being possible to redesign the process in order to improve the PBD, in order to effectively solve the research problem. For data collection, questionnaires, interviews and recordings were used. The analysis occurred during all phases of the PBD, and, based on the data collected, an interpretative analysis was carried out. The artifact built in the second phase of the PBD aimed to reply the research problem. This consists in a didactic sequence composed of different strategies: construction of the DNA molecule by the students, appreciation of a documentary, expository dialogued classes, technical visit, lecture, experimentation and conversation circle. It is considered that realization of the PBD presented many potentialities to promote the articulation of knowledge between the Natural Sciences, since it allowed a methodological rigor, guided all the work and also presents possibilities for reformulating what did not happen as expected. Talking more specifically about the developed artifact, it is considered that it was efficient to achieve the research objectives. However, it presents some weaknesses, which will be remedied to carry out new application cycles in different contexts.

Submitted by MARCIA ROVADOSCHI (marciar@unifra.br) on 2020-05-07T14:24:16Z No. of bitstreams: 2 Dissertacao_RaquelTusiTamiosso.pdf: 6860481 bytes, checksum: 3801a5ae6411df0093e8712a47b1a956 (MD5) license_rdf: 0 bytes, checksum: d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2020-05-07T14:24:16Z (GMT).
