Resumo: The present study aims to discuss the new body’s configurations in contemporaneity through the relation between art and psychoanalysis. Using ORLAN’s Carnal Art as main object of study, this paper intends to analyze the relation of body with technoscience and body’s obsolescence in contemporary. Which relations can be thought from this artistic experience about themes such as life and death?
