Resumo: The aim of this paper is to propose a reading of Los pueblos (1905) from the point of view of the historian, specifically from the perspective of two historiographical trends – microhistory and history from below –, which emerged in Europe during the 1970s with the fundamental objective of reinstating the anonymous individual as a historical subject, paying attention to the “subaltern classes” of society. By analyzing this work, my intention is to show that Azorin’s conception of the history of Spain meets a fundamental idea: the need to give due attention to small events and episodes of everyday life featuring anonymous individuals who are not recognized as part of history.

Sociedade Brasileira de Teoria e História da Historiografia, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro2015-04-29info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://www.historiadahistoriografia.com.br/revista/article/view/71310.15848/hh.v0i17.713História da Historiografia: International Journal of Theory and History of Historiography; Vol. 8 No. 17 (2015)História da Historiografia: International Journal of Theory and History of Historiography; Vol. 8 Núm. 17 (2015)História da Historiografia: International Journal of Theory and History of Historiography; v. 8 n. 17 (2015)1983-9928reponame:História da Historiografiainstname:Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP)instacron:UFOPspahttps://www.historiadahistoriografia.com.br/revista/article/view/713/533Fuster García, Franciscoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2020-05-02T02:38:42Zoai:ojs.www.historiadahistoriografia.com.br:article/713Revistahttps://www.historiadahistoriografia.com.br/revistaPUBhttps://www.historiadahistoriografia.com.br/revista/oaivaldei354@gmail.com || historiadahistoriografia@hotmail.com1983-99281983-9928opendoar:2020-05-02T02:38:42História da Historiografia - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP)false
