Facing a crisis? Questions by historiography in hesitant times

Resumo:  This literature review aims to present a historiographic discussion on the hypothesis of a period of crisis of and in history. The writings to be discussed focus on contemporary observations by Brazilian researchers and their relationship with other intellectual landscapes, offering remarks for an increasingly relevant theme in the present-day. Aspiring a survey of the global aspects in such recent historiography, this review seeks to indicate the relationship with scholars from other countries. This article is structured in four fundamental axes. First, the relationship between the crisis of time and the operational possibilities of the concept of regimes of historicity; then, the debates on issues of digitality; in a third moment, we demonstrate the quality of the productions that consider the historian’s intervention in the practical world; finally, it delimits the intervention capacities of a necessary articulation between economics and politics.

Os escritos que serão apresentados originam-se de reflexões atuais de pesquisadores brasileiros e de suas relações com outras paisagens intelectuais, ofertando posicionamentos para uma temática cada vez mais pertinente no tempo presente. Objetivando também um balanço dos aspectos globais desta historiografia recente, esta resenha procura indicar as relações com figuras intelectuais de outros países. Assim, o texto se estrutura em quatro eixos fundamentais.
