The participation of teachers in the development of mathematical tasks in a collaborative work

Resumo: In this paper, we aim to identify and analyze how teachers participate in the development of mathematical tasks in the project Mathematics Education Watch (OEM-Bahia). The research was qualitative and the data was collected through observation of meetings from OEM-Bahia and interviews with teachers responsible for implementing the tasks designed by the group. The results show that teachers participate in the development of tasks complying with common goals of the group and sharing ways to develop investigative or exploratory questions. These forms of participation are related to the joint enterprise established by the group for the elaboration of the tasks and with the shared repertoire among the group members, which provided evidence of changes in the practices in which teachers participate.

La investigación fue de naturaleza cualitativa y los datos fueron recolectados por medio de la observación de reuniones y de la realización de entrevistas con profesores responsables por la implementación de las tareas. Los resultados apuntan que los profesores participan en la elaboración de tareas atendiendo a los objetivos comunes del grupo y compartiendo modos de elaborar cuestiones investigativas o exploratorias. Estas formas de participar tienen relación con el emprendimiento conjunto establecido por el grupo para la elaboración de las tareas y con el repertorio compartido entre los miembros del grupo, que posibilitó indicios de cambios en las prácticas en que los profesores participan.Neste artigo, apresentamos um trabalho desenvolvido com o objetivo de identificar e analisar como professores participam da elaboração de tarefas matemáticas no projeto Observatório da Educação Matemática (OEM-Bahia). A pesquisa foi de natureza qualitativa e os dados foram coletados por meio da observação de reuniões e da realização de entrevistas com professores responsáveis pela implementação das tarefas. Os resultados apontam que os professores participam da elaboração de tarefas atendendo aos objetivos comuns do grupo e compartilhando modos de elaborar questões investigativas ou exploratórias.
