Resumo: Brazilian Biodiversity is divided into six Biomes, which to a greater or lesser extent have been suffering from environmental impacts, mainly related to agribusiness. Given this scenario, environmental education could be one of the tools to face this environmental degradation. However, what is observed is that there is no harmony between higher education and basic education, especially with regard to the pedagogical intervention process, that is, basic education ends up being used only as a space for data collection and critical to the training process. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the scenario of academic publications, focusing on the records of the weaknesses and potential of teaching and learning on the theme of Brazilian Biomes. The present study is a bibliographical research, developed in the first semester of 2021 and took place from a search Scientometrics and information about the weaknesses of the teaching and learning process, categorized from the Textual Discursive Analysis (ATD). As a result, it can be inferred that the most researched biomes are the Caatinga and Pampa Biomes, with a focus on general biodiversity, aiming at pointing out weaknesses in the teaching and learning process on the biomes theme. The conclusions of these documents indicate that the weaknesses are based on student learning, methodology and teacher education, with few records on the role of universities as a space for continuing education and offering research that promotes the training of the actors involved. with the teaching and learning process.

Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará/UFOPA2023-01-26info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/article/view/210610.24065/2237-9460.2023v13n1ID2106Revista Exitus; v. 13 (2023); e0230152237-9460reponame:Revista Exitusinstname:Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (UFOPA)instacron:UFOPAporhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/article/view/2106/1314Copyright (c) 2023 Débora Velasque de Souza, Fernando Icaro Jorge Cunha, Ailton Jesus Dinardihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessde Souza, Débora Velasque Cunha, Fernando Icaro JorgeDinardi, Ailton Jesus2023-01-10T21:29:43Zoai:ojs.pkp.sfu.ca:article/2106Revistahttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/indexPUBhttps://portaldeperiodicos.ufopa.edu.br/index.php/revistaexitus/oai||revistaicedufopa@gmail.com2237-94602236-2983opendoar:2024-01-24T12:48:32.929071Revista Exitus - Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (UFOPA)false
