Resumo: A representação de fantasmas na ficção brasileira costuma se vincular à transmissão de valores morais ou ao seu questionamento ético. Este artigo analisa figuras de fantasmas presentes em obras literárias de José Justiniano Rocha, Bernardo Guimarães, Monteiro Lobato, Ronaldo Correia de Brito e Marcelo Ferroni. O objetivo principal é identificar as mudanças no modo de representar fantasmas e seus discursos em narrativas literárias, apresentando algumas hipóteses que vinculam essas mudanças a diferentes reflexões éticas sobre códigos morais existentes na sociedade brasileira.

This article aims to analyze figures of ghosts present in literary works by José Justiniano Rocha, Bernardo Guimarães, Monteiro Lobato, Ronaldo Correia de Brito and Marcelo Ferroni.
