A escolha racional dos sistemas estruturais é um fator de grande importância para o desenvolvimento de soluções padronizadas e competitivas. O objetivo deste trabalho é avaliar comparativamente o desempenho de alguns sistemas estruturais usuais para galpões industriais. Para isso desenvolve-se um estudo paramétrico considerando pórticos transversais de diversas tipologias submetidos a carregamentos usuais, com vãos livres variando de 16 a 32 metros. comuns por meio de simulações computacionais. As tipologias estudadas foram: pórtico de alma cheia, pórtico com treliça em arco, pórtico com treliça de banzos paralelos, pórtico com treliça trapezoidal e pórtico com treliça triangular. Neste estudo optou-se por avaliar, exclusivamente, a influência da tipologia e vão livre no desempenho do pórtico transversal. Como parâmetro da avaliação da eficiência dos sistemas estruturais foram considerados a taxa de consumo de aço e a resposta estrutural dos diversos modelos analisados. Os resultados indicam que os pórticos treliçados apresentam menores taxas de consumo que os pórticos de alma cheia. Os pórticos com treliça em arco e treliça de banzos paralelos apresentam taxa de consumo de aço muito parecidas, enquanto os pórticos com treliça trapezoidal apresentam o melhor resultado sob o ponto de vista da taxa de consumo e resposta estrutural. O estudo desenvolvido gera subsídios que podem auxiliar a arquitetos e engenheiros a definição de sistemas estruturais mais adequados para galpões industriais.In the project of a metallic structure to an industrial hangar there is a wide range of possibilities that can be adopted for the structural arrangement of the building exists. The rational choice of the structural systems is a factor of great importance for the development of standardized solutions and competitive. The objective of this work is to evaluate the acting of some usual structural systems comparatively for industrial hangars. For that it was grows a parametric study considering traverse porches of several typologies submitted to usual shipments, with free empty spaces varying from 16 to 32 meters. common through computacional simulation. The studied typologies were: porch of full soul, porch with trusses in arch, porch with trusses of parallel brace members, porch with trapezoidal trusses and porch with triangular trusses. In this study it was evaluated, exclusively, the influence of the typology and free empty space in the acting of the traverse porch. As parameter of the evaluation of the efficiency of the structural systems was considered the rate of consumption of steel and the structural answer of the several analyzed models. The results indicate that the trussed porches presents smaller consumption rates than the porches of full soul. The porches with trusses in arch and trusses of parallel brace members present rate of consumption of steel very seemed, while the porches with trapezoidal trusses present the best result under the point of view of the consumption rate and structural answer.
