INDIGENOUS ETHNOCIENCE: discussions on environmental preservation from the perspective of indigenous graduates of the Intercultural Degree in the Amazon

Resumo: | Ethnoscience, from the indigenous perspective, is a particular group way of thinking and producing knowledge. Therefore, as it is culturally of oral tradition, it is necessary to find a way to systematize this knowledge in written form, ensuring that it is not lost over time. The objective of this research was to investigate the ethnoconservation of biodiversity, through environmental preservation, from the perspective of indigenous graduates in their intercultural writings at the end of their course. The methodology involves a bibliographical research, with a qualitative approach, being analyzed 22 works of conclusion of course of egresses available in the department page of the Degree in Intercultural Education of the Federal University of Rondônia Foundation (UNIR) and Indigenous Intercultural Degree Course of the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP). The results bring important discussions about environmental preservation from the perspective of indigenous graduates, produced with their communities, pointing out not only its importance, but also the recognition of consequences arising from negative environmental impacts in their indigenous territories. It is essential, through ethnoscience, to systematize this ethnoknowledge in view of its written record and through them to think of solutions for environmental preservation. |

Por lo tanto, al ser culturalmente de tradición oral, es necesario buscar la manera de sistematizar este conocimiento en forma escrita, procurando que no se pierda con el tiempo. El objetivo de esta investigación fue investigar la etnoconservación de la biodiversidad, a través de la preservación ambiental, desde la perspectiva de los egresados indígenas en sus escritos interculturales al final de la carrera. La metodología involucra una investigación bibliográfica, con abordaje cualitativo, siendo analizados 22 trabajos de conclusión de curso de egresos disponibles en la página departamental de la Licenciatura en Educación Intercultural de la Fundación Universidad Federal de Rondônia (UNIR) y Carrera de Licenciatura Intercultural Indígena de la Universidad Federal de Amapá (UNIFAP). Los resultados traen importantes discusiones sobre la preservación ambiental desde la perspectiva de los egresados indígenas, producidos con sus comunidades, señalando no sólo su importancia, sino también el reconocimiento de las consecuencias derivadas de los impactos ambientales negativos en sus territorios indígenas. Es fundamental, a través de la etnociencia, sistematizar estos etnoconocimientos a la vista de su registro escrito ya través de ellos pensar soluciones para la preservación ambiental.A etnociência, na perspectiva indígena, é uma forma particular do grupo de pensar e produzir conhecimentos. Sendo assim, por ser culturalmente de tradição oral, é necessário encontrar forma de sistematizar esses conhecimentos de forma escrita, garantindo que não se percam com o passar do tempo. O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi investigar a etnoconservação da biodiversidade, por meio da preservação ambiental, na perspectiva de egressos indígenas em seus escritos interculturais de conclusão de curso. A metodologia envolve uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com abordagem qualitativa, sendo analisados 22 trabalhos de conclusão de curso de egressos disponibilizados na página do departamento da Licenciatura em Educação Intercultural da Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR) e Curso de Licenciatura Intercultural Indígena da Universidade Federal do Amapá (UNIFAP). Os resultados trazem discussões importantes sobre a preservação ambiental na perspectiva dos egressos indígenas, produzidos com suas comunidades, apontando não apenas a sua importância, mas também o reconhecimento de consequências advindas dos impactos ambientais negativos em seus territórios indígenas.
