Documento arquivístico digital: uma abordagem conceitual

Summary: Este artigo tem como foco principal conceituar documento arquivístico digital, haja vista a existência das tecnologias de informação e comunicação disponíveis no corrente século XXI, bem como suas recorrentes utilizações. São abordados quatro principais aspectos acerca dos documentos arquivísticos digitais: preservação, validade jurídica, segurança e gestão arquivística de documentos. No primeiro, destaca-se a difícil tarefa de garantir a preservação em longo prazo, por isso é dever do arquivista e dos demais profissionais envolvidos manter o documento a salvo das “intempéries tecnológicas”. No segundo momento, são abordados aspectos que mantêm o documento íntegro, todavia é possível manter o documento autêntico desde que siga uma série de requisitos de segurança pré estabelecidos. Em seguida, são levantados os mecanismos que garantem a segurança dos documentos digitais. E por fim, são abordados os procedimentos e operações técnicas da gestão arquivística de documentos com base no e-ARQ Brasil. Para a realização deste trabalho foi realizado uma pesquisa descritiva de cunho qualitativa, assim como um levantamento bibliográfico para a compreensão do tema.

Four main aspects about digital archival documents are addressed: preservation, legal validity, security and archival document management. The first highlights the difficult task of ensuring long-term preservation, so it is the duty of the archivist and the other professionals involved to keep the document safe from “technological obsolescence”. In the second step, aspects that keep the document intact are addressed, but you can keep the document authentic as long as you follow a set of pre-established security requirements. Then, the mechanisms that guarantee the security of digital documents are raised. Finally, the technical procedures and operations of archival document management based on e-ARQ Brazil are addressed.
