Resumo: | In a environmental system the physical elements that compounds the landscape are interrelated as a organized whole, so that its organization is connected to the system stability, however its stability should not be understood as a state which the system remains static, but should be seen as something relative and dynamic, where the system is constantly renovation and transformation, such as the fluvial systems. As the processes of lateral changes in river banks, are among the most recurrent processes in fluvial landscapes and the understanding of its mechanism of action is essential to the explanation of the evolution of the various elements of fluvial dynamics. For semiarid environment, which has predominance of intermittent rivers, the lateral modification processes can be as intense as in humid areas, being necessary greater attention due to modification issues and interventions that will directly affect river stability. So, the research searched to analyze the lateral stability in semiarid fluvial environments, in the channels of Riacho do Tigre basin, located in the Cariri Paraibano, focusing mainly on analyzing the lateral adjustability and its relation with the energy flow, which through identification of the material composition of banks through texture and consistency test, and analysis of vegetation, as well as analysis of the energy distribution, and so from the analyzed eight river stretches, four were identified as instable, two as stable and the others two with intermediary stability. |

Submitted by Rosilene Machado (rosilenefmachado@gmail.com) on 2016-08-19T20:08:20Z No. of bitstreams: 1 CJSS19082016.pdf: 3220503 bytes, checksum: 8c108f92129ea85bea9f662656ba9d96 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2016-08-19T20:08:20Z (GMT).
