Resumo: This work proposes to undertake a mapping of Ibero American countries leading newspapers' applications for iPad. As an initial part of a broader research, the aim of this study is to identify the model of the apps and the content format that analyzed apps offer the audience. From the systematic observation of objects of study, it will be analyzed the elements format to identify if the content is published in PDF or updated continuously. Another category of analysis corresponds to the content type, since we are interested in whether the publication is a reproduction of the printed or the web, or are a native product for iPad, which explores the device capabilities.

Como parte inicial de uma pesquisa mais ampla, o objetivo principal deste estudo é identificar o modelo dos apps e o formato do conteúdo que os apps analisados oferecem à audiência. A partir da observação sistemática dos objetos de estudo, analisar-se-ão elementos do formato para identificar se o conteúdo é publicado em PDF ou atualizado continuamente.
