Abstract This study aimed to assess the level of maturity in Knowledge Management (KM) within the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) concerning the combat of domestic violence against women. Data collection relied on an adapted questionnaire, used to measure the maturity stage of Knowledge Management within the PCDF and examine the influential relationship of KM criteria within this institution. The results obtained indicate that despite the organization lacking a structured KM program, it is in the introductory phase of maturity. It was identified that the People criterion had the lowest scores in the police stations, highlighting that investing in this area could yield better results in implementing a Knowledge Management plan. Furthermore, it was evident that the variables of Leadership, Processes, and People positively influenced KM outcomes.   Keywords: knowledge; knowledge management; maturity model; diagnosis; public administration.
