Corresponding to the advancement of digital technologies in recent times, in which each day that passes is the starting point for the creation of new technological tools, which appear in order to optimize the mechanical tasks performed by human beings, reduce expenses and reduce the time of different levels of knowledge. Given this context, the present research aims to analyze in law firms in the city of João Pessoa the impact that lawtechs are providing in the access and use of legal information, facilitating the informational flow of this branch of knowledge.The theoretical basis is based on the concepts related to three areas: Information Science, Law and Computing. The methodology consists of documentary research, of exploratory and descriptive character, of an applied nature and the used method of data collection was structured interviews of the offices in the João Pessoa city that use this technological innovation. Data analysis was performed through content analysis proposed by Bardin, in which the categories were established during the collection. The results obtained show that the development of lawtechs depends on their dissemination in the national legal sphere, so that it is possible to promote access to and use of legal information. There are good perspectives in the legal market for the development of lawtechs, constituting a promising niche for information professionals, whose expertise can bring great academic, social and social contributions scientific information on the subject. In this way with reference to access and use of legal information, through lawtechs, one can perceive the approximation between lawyer and clients, because from the technological tool the client checks the procedural progress, facilitating the progress of others lawyers' lawsuits. And another relevant point, it is with regard to jurisprudence that in lawtechs it became easier to find the judges decisions, facilitating the solution and arguments that lawyers should have in relation to each case in progress.
