Thus, it was possible to apprehend the problem investigated, from the following empirical categories: Discovery of son s cancer; Everyday life of family amended by the childhood cancer; The suffering that God relieves; The Family of infant with cancer and their networks and social support. Results: The results revealed that all families have faced troubles that started with the looking for health services and that accentuated with the discovery of cancer of the child. The dynamics of the family was completely modified to take care of the child, but this movement was impaired at several moments that family, and especially her mother, find themselves helpless. To face these situations, the family strengthens their prayers to the Highest Being , in which deposit all their hopes of healing the child, thus, the mothers refer feeling less distressed and with a greater capacity to accept life's difficulties. Associated with the faith, the social support from the network in which the family is inserted was perceived as valuable help in coping with cancer. The feeling of appreciation is emerged when families receive several kinds of support from different sectors of society, as well as extended family. Could report to other people strengthens the family members who are extremely shaken. We observe that although the hospital is a place of pain and suffering, the mothers reported a significant empathy for professionals who work there, because they feel heard and met their needs. Final considerations: from a daily restructured according to the child's treatment, we hope this study encourages further discussions in order to redirect care to those families who also suffer, and they often need to hide the pain that the child does not notice. We reaffirm that the link built with these families may represent a valuable action in the care.
