Resumo: | The new productive scenarios, resulting from the transformations of paradigms in the workplace and rapid social and technological transformations, have greatly impacted the relation between work and gender. Linked to this issue, the situation that women experience in the workplace, in several countries, is marked by inequality of opportunities, treatment and rights. Thus, the present thesis aimed to understand the analysis of articulations between the social relations of gender and work, considering in the theoretical framework the Brazilian scientific production and in the empirical scope the psychic dynamics of the professors of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). We assume that, although the work space in a federal public university is, in principle, isononomic and equitable, gender social relations interfere in the organization and development of the teaching activity of women. For this, the thesis was organized in 04 articles. The first article analyzed the current situation of women in the workplace in Brazil, based on social indicators of work and gender. In it, we carried out a survey of the reports, statistics and analyzes of the relationship between labor and gender in Brazil produced by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), Perseu Abramo Foundation, International Labor Organization, World Economic Forum and United Nations (UN) Women. In Brazil, gender inequality in work has declined in the last decade, but has rapidly increased in the last two years, putting Brazil in one of the worst positions in the world. Knowing this current scenario is one of the factors that helps the elaboration and implementation of coping strategies and promotion of work equality. The second article dealt with a qualitative meta-analysis of Brazilian scientific production in work and gender psychology. To do so, a systematic review was carried out from five national electronic databases. After selection by the criteria of inclusion and analysis by judges, 59 articles were classified as belonging to the area of Psychology. In these we perform a scientometric analysis, dividing them into two groups by time band: (1) (2008-2017, N = 38), and (2) (1997-2007, N = 21). A qualitative meta-analysis was carried out with articles published in the last 10 years that were submitted to textual analysis with the aid of software IRaMuTeQ. He results indicate that predominantly, among them, gender has been treated as a focus, being thematic work; and that there is still a naturalization of women's roles. The third article aimed to reflect on the place of teaching women in federal universities, especially at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). To do this, we investigated census data, together with the Pro-Rector's Office for People Management (PROGEP) (from 1998 to 2018) for the local scenario and for the national scenario the reports from 1999 to 2017, as well as reports from the National Development Council Scientific and Technological (CNPq). We identified a process of feminization, which groups teachers primarily to the areas of knowledge of health care and education. In addition, they have difficulties in advancing their careers and receive fewer Research Productivity Scholarships (PQ)/CNPq, in addition to occupying less management spaces in a higher university hierarchy, in spite of the fact that, at present, the role of provost is occupied by a woman. The fourth article investigated the psychic dynamics of female teachers at a federal university based on the gender and work relationship. This study had a qualitative character, in which individual interviews were carried out in the context of the work of the female teachers of different courses of the campus I of the UFPB. We analyzed evidences of the expressions of the relation between gender and work in the work of the teaching women of the UFPB, as well as the repercussions of these in the process of naturalization of the barriers imposed and the movements to face this situation. The combination of the four articles allows us to think about indicators and contexts for reproduction in federal universities of the gender and work relation for the teaching woman as well as to foment coping strategies. |

Atrelada a essa questão, a situação que a mulher vivencia no mundo do trabalho, em diversos países, é marcada por desigualdade de oportunidades, de tratamento e de direitos. Assim, a presente tese objetivou compreender analisar articulações entre as relações sociais de gênero e trabalho, considerando no âmbito teórico a produção científica brasileira e no âmbito empírico a dinâmica psíquica das docentes da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Partimos do pressuposto de que, apesar do espaço de trabalho em uma universidade pública federal ser, em princípio, isonômico e equânime, as relações sociais de gênero interferem na organização e desenvolvimento da atividade docente das mulheres. Para tal, a tese foi organizada em 04 artigos. O primeiro deles objetivou analisar a situação atual das mulheres no mundo do trabalho no Brasil, a partir de indicadores sociais de trabalho e gênero. Nele realizamos um levantamento dos relatórios, estatísticas e análises da relação trabalho e gênero no Brasil produzidos pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (IPEA), Fundação Perseu Abramo, Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT) Brasil, Fórum Econômico Mundial e Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU) Mulheres. Observamos que no Brasil a desigualdade de gênero no trabalho apresentou na última década uma diminuição, mas que rapidamente voltou a crescer nos últimos dois anos, colocando o Brasil em uma das piores colocações no mundo. Conhecer esse cenário atual é um dos fatores que auxilia a elaboração e implementação de estratégias de enfrentamento e promoção da equidade no trabalho. O segundo artigo tratou de uma metanálise qualitativa da produção científica brasileira em psicologia sobre trabalho e gênero. Para tanto, uma revisão sistemática foi realizada a partir de cinco bases de dados nacionais eletrônicas. Após seleção pelos critérios de inclusão e análise de juízas, 59 artigos foram classificados como pertencentes à área da Psicologia. Nestes realizamos uma análise cientométrica, dividindo-os em dois grupos por faixa de tempo: (1) (2008-2017, N=38), e (2) (1997-2007, N=21). Uma metanálise qualitativa foi realizada com os artigos publicados nos últimos 10 anos que foram submetidos a análises textuais com auxílio do software IRaMuTeQ. Os resultados indicam que, dentre eles, predominantemente a temática gênero tem sido tratada como foco, sendo o trabalho temática de fundo; e que ainda há uma naturalização dos papéis femininos. O terceiro artigo objetivou refletir sobre o lugar da mulher docente em universidades federais, em especial na Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). Para tal, investigamos dados censitários, junto a Pró-Reitoria de Gestão de Pessoas – PROGEP (no período de 1998 a 2018) para o cenário local e para o cenário nacional os relatórios de 1999 a 2017, além de relatórios do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq). Identificamos que existe um processo de feminização, que agrupa as docentes prioritariamente às áreas de conhecimentos dos cuidados em saúde e educação. Ademais, elas têm dificuldades em progredirem na carreira e recebem menos bolsas de Produtividade em Pesquisa (PQ)/CNPq, além de ocuparem menos espaços de gestão em alta hierarquia universitária, em que pese o fato de, no momento, a função de reitora ser ocupada por uma mulher. O quarto artigo, investigou a dinâmica psíquica de mulheres docentes em universidade federal a partir da relação gênero e trabalho. Este estudo teve um cunho qualitativo, no qual foram realizadas entrevistas individuais no contexto de trabalho das mulheres docentes de diferentes cursos do campus I da UFPB. Analisamos evidências das expressões da relação gênero e trabalho no trabalho da mulher docente da UFPB, assim como as repercussões dessas no processo de naturalização das barreiras impostas e dos movimentos para enfrentamento desta situação.
