Projeto comunitário – PROCEP (1987-1994) no assentamento Baixio-Riachão PB: uma experiência de educação popular do campo

Resumo: This research has as object the analysis of the Community Project of Popular Education - PROCEP, the Settlement Shoal (1987-1994) as a field of popular education experience, seeking to establish relationship between the principles of Popular Education (PE) and Rural Education (RE) in the present proceedings education developed in PROCEP experience. This experience was developed between the years 1987-1994 in the community, but it was so important to let knowledge and practices that are still present to this day passing from generation to generation experiences. To understand this subject matter we set the following questions: what are the principles of Popular Education and Education Field present in the experience of PROCEP? What are the fundamentals of educational practices used? What is the perception of the subjects who participated in this experience? The research aimed to analyze the PROCEP experience in Bog Settlement from 1984 to 1987, as a field of popular education experience. Specific sought to identify the principles of Popular Education and Rural Education present in PROCEP; identify and analyze the perception of the subjects who participated in this experience. The research has an exploratory character, as sought to understand the principles of educational processes developed by PROCEP and identify the views of participants in relation to the practices that have developed in the experience of the Project. The research is characterized as qualitative research participant nature and used as data collection instruments semi-structured interviews with participants PROCEP, photographs, questionnaires, document of pastoral land commission files (CPT) booklets, PROCEP documents, pamphlets. Such methodological procedures, aligned with the theoretical framework made it possible to present reflections on the PROCEP experience, collective work and teaching developed in inundated community, the knowledge that happen every day in the activities developed in the community project. The reflections were based on the theoretical frameworks of: Freire (1967), Freire (1978) Freire (1998) Freire (1987), Weffort (1967), Batista (2007), Singer (2002), Tiriba (1982) among others. In addition, they used popular personal experiences with education field. The results of the research being built in the process of this work. The main conclusions that stand out in the research are as follows; aparti that the testimony of former students of Procep, and documents analyzed, we identified that are present various principles of Procep education, the principles of the field of education. For this reason we can say that the experience of Procep, was a project of popular education field.

For this reason we can say that the experience of Procep, was a project of popular education field.Esta pesquisa tem como objeto a análise do Projeto Comunitário de Educação Popular – PROCEP, do Assentamento Baixio, como uma experiência de Educação Popular do Campo, buscando estabelecer relação entre os princípios da Educação Popular (EP) e da Educação do Campo (EC) presentes nos processos educativos desenvolvidos na experiência do PROCEP, desenvolvida entre os anos 1987-1994 na comunidade, a qual pela importância que teve deixou conhecimentos e práticas que continuam presentes até os dias atuais passando de geração para geração. Para entender esse objeto de estudo partimos das seguintes questões: quais os princípios da Educação Popular e da Educação do Campo que embasaram a experiência do PROCEP? Quais os fundamentos das práticas educativas utilizadas? Qual a percepção dos sujeitos que participaram desta experiência? A investigação teve como objetivo geral analisar a experiência do PROCEP no Assentamento Baixio de 1984 a 1987, como uma experiência de Educação Popular do Campo. Especificamente buscamos identificar os princípios Educação Popular e da Educação do Campo presentes no PROCEP; identificar e analisar a percepção dos sujeitos que participaram desta experiência. A pesquisa teve um caráter exploratório, pois buscou compreender os princípios dos processos educativos desenvolvidos pelo PROCEP assim como identificar as visões dos participantes com relação às práticas que se desenvolveram na experiência do Projeto. A investigação se caracteriza como pesquisa qualitativa de natureza participante e usou como instrumentos de coleta de dados entrevistas semiestruturadas com os participantes do PROCEP, análise de documentos de arquivos da comissão pastoral da terra, (CPT) cartilhas, documentos, panfletos do PROCEP. Tais procedimentos metodológicos, alinhados aos referenciais teóricos, possibilitaram apresentar reflexões acerca da experiência do PROCEP, o trabalho coletivo e pedagógico desenvolvido no roçado comunitário na Comunidade Baixio, os saberes que acontecem diariamente nas atividades desenvolvidas nesse projeto comunitário. As reflexões se fundamentaram nos arcabouços teóricos de: Freire (1967, 1978,1998, 1987), Weffort (1967), Batista, (2007), Singer (2002), Tiriba (1982) entre outros. As principais conclusões que destaco na pesquisa são as seguintes; que a partir dos depoimentos dos ex-alunos do Procep, e dos documentos analisados, identificamos que estão presentes na educação do PROCEP, vários princípios da Educação do campo, da Educação Popular e alguns traços da metodologia de Freinet.
