Ethos, mídia e discurso político: uma análise das noções de ética nos jornais Correio da Paraíba e Jornal de Paraíba nas eleições estaduais de 2014

This paper presents as the main paraibanos newspapers construct the notion of ethics in politics, taking into account the constructivist idea of reality in journalism. We analyze in this sense, the political coverage in the state from the political news of the newspaper Correio da Paraíba and Jornal da Paraiba on a strong stress scenario were the elections in 2014 the state government. We note with support from the phenomenology of Alfred Schutz, the speech of candidates and their strategies for imagery projection of a political ethos aimed at convincing the electorate and discredit opponents. The choice for the study of political discourse from the political book of newspapers is proposed for the identification of targeted form of debates framed in this format, with a greater exposure of the candidates and their positions placed under discussion in ethics. So to get the analysis in question, we are dedicated to examine the ethics of components as interpreted by Aristotle, Kant and Max Weber, the way the political discourse is permeated by sociocultural aspects, features and ethos construction of strategies and perspectives that encompass the imagery of ethics in politics. The study of these subjects is justified by understanding the journalistic practice conducted from techniques, genres and news production standards when playing and at the same time, reworks the senses of speeches creating new meanings often submerged in an apparent representation. From this perspective, we used the methodological basis of Discourse Analysis to understand how was the construction of the ethical-discursive scenarios in political news. For the development of this work were collected in all 25 news, sit 13 Correio da Paraíba and Paraíba Journal of 12 in the period from July to September 2014. We take into account the impact of the speeches of the main candidates of the elections, Ricardo Coutinho (PSB) and Cássio Cunha Lima (PSDB) in view of their importance for the analysis. With this information, we offer a work investigating which ethical way permeated the political discourse in paraibanos newspapers over the period in question with a view to virtue ethics in Aristotle, the duty in Kant and vocation in Weber.
