Resumo: Starting from the premise that sexuality always acquired several connotations, in accordance with the meanings and senses that have been and are assigned by the culture, the term sexuality now relates to sexual activity (Biological) now the gender role, influencing the way of being of individuals. Sexuality is constructed from the set of social institutions, cultural, historical and discursive mediated by the device of knowledge-power, since the relationship of power raises standards, control and vigil over at that time is considered okay and normal. The body and sexuality WINS sense why there are in society and are manufactured by them, where the speeches are responsible for regulating and standardizing the sexual behaviours in particular time and context. The disabled body always was seen as negative at all during the story, does not meet the minimum requirements for social cooperation and for the activities required to work in this sense historical determinations, economic, social and cultural rights, outside the context of paraplegia, because the same is characterized as a type of disability that affects motor functions and loss of sensation in the legs. With regard to sexuality, desire in paraplegic person can suffer changes mainly due to psychological and social issues, not denying the existence of organic problems. In this sense, this thesis aims to seize the general social representations of people with paraplegia about your sexuality. It is a field of study multimétodo character backed by the theory of social representations, with locus a public clinic, partnership with the SUS, offices of private clinics and health centers all entered in the city of Campina Grande. For access to participants, there was a Snowball methodology. The sample was composed of 60 participants, these 40 were people diagnosed with paraplegia and 20 health professionals, of both sex (male = 35; Female = 25) between 22 and 57 years. As an instrument of a questionnaire were used Biossociodemografico collection, free association of Words (TALP) and a semi-structured interview, the data from the first instrument were processed by the Software SPSS 19.0 and analyzed by descriptive statistics; the narratives from the interviews of the participants with paraplegia were triggered by Alceste software and analyzed by hierarchical classification descente (CHD),the professionals were processed by Iramutec software and evaluated for CHD, plus the analysis of similarity; the words coming from the TALP were processed by the Tri-deux-mots and analyzed by factor analysis. The results point in relation to the profile of the paraplegic people an average of age of 31.78 years (SD = 8, 63), male predominance (70%), education (50%) attended elementary school, 37.5% and 12.5 higher education, marital status, single (77%); 80% present as cause paraplegia gained, with greater cause auto accidents (55%) and as main neurological lumbar level (65%). The profile of health professionals female predominance (65%); time of 11-15 formed between years (45%) physiotherapists and psychologists (35% respectively) and you don't talk about sexuality with your patients (70%). The social representations of people with paraplegia about your sexuality are related to notorious re-meaning the same, sex and sexuality, the latter as a broader concept, which involves the relationship between two people, attraction, love, pleasure and sexual involvement, where sex is not related only to the genital pleasure, also linked to attraction, desire, the female and the male in order to find love. In this sense the sexuality refers to a person as a whole, their thoughts, feelings, attitudes and behaviours with respect to themselves and to others, while taking into consideration the historicity of each, because this subjective understanding of sexuality relates to experience emotional and could not fail to be mediated by society, where people with paraplegia depends on the process of socialization , experimentation, clarification and information about living your sexuality. Health workers contained their representations about the sexuality related also to a broader sense however characterized the physiological aspect with determinant of same. It is concluded that this thesis may contribute to better quality of life and better inclusion in the social environment in which it is inserted, abolishing the bias, showing that people with paraplegia are able to share the rights and social duties and enjoying a sexuality.

Sexualidad se construye desde el conjunto de instituciones sociales, cultural, histórico y discursivo mediada por el aparato de poder de conocimiento, ya que eleva el nivel de la relación de poder, controlan y vigilia sobre en momento se considera normal y aceptable. El cuerpo y la sexualidad gana sentido por qué hay en la sociedad y se fabrican por ellos, donde los discursos son responsables de regular y estandarizar las conductas sexuales en particular tiempo y contexto. El cuerpo con discapacidad siempre fue visto como negativo en absoluto durante la historia, no cumple con los requisitos mínimos para la cooperación social y para las actividades necesarias para trabajar en este sentido histórico determinaciones económicas, derechos sociales y culturales, fuera del contexto de la paraplejia, ya que el mismo se caracteriza como un tipo de discapacidad que afecta a la motricidad y pérdida de sensibilidad en las piernas. Con respecto a la sexualidad, deseo en persona parapléjicas puede sufrir cambios debido principalmente a problemas psicológicos y sociales, sin negar la existencia de problemas orgánicos. En este sentido, esta tesis pretende apoderarse de las representaciones sociales generales de las personas con paraplejia acerca de su sexualidad. Es que un campo de estudio multimétodo personaje respaldado por la teoría de las representaciones sociales, con el lugar geométrico de una clínica pública, asociación con el SUS, oficinas de clínicas privadas y centros de salud entrados en la ciudad de Campina Grande. Para acceder a los participantes, hubo una metodología Snowball (bola de nieve). La muestra se compone de 60 participantes, estas 40 personas diagnosticadas con paraplejia y 20 profesionales de la salud, de ambos sexo (hombre = 35; Mujer = 25) entre los 22 y 57 años.Como instrumento un cuestionario utilizado Biossociodemografico colección, libre asociación de palabras (TALP) y una entrevista semiestructurada, los datos del primer instrumento fueron procesados por el Software SPSS 19.0 y analizados mediante estadística descriptiva; los relatos de las entrevistas de los participantes con paraplejia fueron provocados por software Alceste y analizados por clasificación jerárquica descentre (CHD),la profesionales fueron procesados por el software Iramutecy evaluados para enfermedad coronaria, además el análisis de similitud; las palabras de la TALP fueron procesadas por el Tri-deux-mots y analizadas por análisis factorial. Los resultados señalan en relación con el perfil de las personas parapléjicas un promedio de edad de 31,78 años (SD = 8, 63), predominio masculino (70%), educación (50%) asistió a la escuela primaria, 37,5% y 12,5 de educación superior, estado civil, solo (77%); 80% presente como causar paraplejia ganó, con una mayor causa de accidentes de auto (55%) y como nivel lumbar neurológica principal (65%). El perfil de predominio femenino de profesionales de la salud (65%); tiempo de 11-15 entre fisioterapeutas de años (45%) y psicólogos (35% respectivamente) y no habla de sexualidad con sus pacientes (70%). Las representaciones sociales de las personas con paraplejia acerca de su sexualidad se relacionan con notorio volver a decir lo mismo, sexo y sexualidad, este última como un concepto más amplio, que involucra la relación entre dos personas, atracción, amor, placer y participación sexual, donde sexo no está relacionado sólo con el placer genital, también ligada a la atracción, el deseo, la mujer y el hombre para encontrar el amor. En este sentido la sexualidad se refiere 19 a una persona como un todo, sus pensamientos, sentimientos, actitudes y comportamientos con respecto a sí mismos y a otros, teniendo en cuenta la historicidad de cada uno, porque esta comprensión subjetiva de la sexualidad se relaciona con la experiencia emocional y no podía dejar de ser mediado por la sociedad, donde gente con paraplejia depende del proceso de socialización , experimentación, aclaración e información de vive tu sexualidad. Trabajadores de la salud contienen sus representaciones sobre la sexualidad relacionados con también a un sentido más amplio sin embargo caracteriza el aspecto fisiológico con determinante de la misma. Se concluye que esta tesis puede contribuir amejor calidad de vida y mejor inserción en el entorno social en el que se inserta, abolición de los prejuicios, mostrando que las personas con Paraplejía son capaces de compartir los derechos y deberes sociales y disfrutar de una sexualidad.NenhumaPartindo da premissa que a sexualidade sempre adquiriu conotações diversas, em conformidade com os significados e os sentidos que lhe foram e são atribuídos pela cultura, o termo sexualidade ora se relaciona à atividade sexual (biológico) ora ao papel de gênero, influenciando o modo de ser dos indivíduos socialmente. A sexualidade é construída a partir do conjunto de instituições sociais, culturais, históricas e discursivas mediada pelo dispositivo do saber – poder, uma vez que a relação de poder gera normas, controle e vigília sobre em que determinada época é considerado certo e normal. O corpo e a sexualidade ganham sentido por que existem nas sociedades e são por elas fabricados, onde os discursos são responsáveis por regular e normatizar os comportamentos sexuais em determinada época e contexto. O corpo deficiente sempre foi visto como negativo em todo transcorrer da historia, por não corresponder as exigências mínimas para a cooperação social e para as atividades requeridas ao trabalho, neste sentido as determinações históricas, econômicas, sociais e culturais, se inscrevem no contexto da paraplegia, pois, a mesma se caracteriza como um tipo de deficiência que atinge a perda das funções motoras e da sensibilidade das pernas. No que se refere à sexualidade, o desejo na pessoa paraplégica pode sofrer alterações principalmente em decorrência de questões psicológicas e sociais, não negando a existência de problemas orgânicos. Neste sentido, esta tese tem como objetivo geral apreender as representações sociais das pessoas com paraplegia acerca da sua sexualidade. Trata-se de um estudo de campo de caráter multimétodo respaldado pela Teoria das Representações Sociais, tendo como lócus uma clinica pública, conveniada com o SUS, consultórios de clinicas particulares e postos de saúde todos inseridos na cidade de Campina Grande. Para acesso aos participantes, fez-se uso da metodologia Snowball (bola de neve). A amostra foi composta de 60 participantes, destes 40 eram pessoas diagnosticadas com paraplegia e 20 profissionais da saúde, de ambos os sexo(Masculino = 35; Feminino = 25) entre 22 e 57 anos. Como instrumento de coleta foram utilizados um Questionário Biossociodemografico, Técnica de Associação Livre de Palavras(TALP) e uma entrevista semiestruturada, os dados provenientes do primeiro instrumento foram processados pelo Software SPSS 19.0 e analisados pela Estatística Descritiva; as narrativas advinda das entrevistas dos participantes com paraplegia foram acionadas pelo software Alcestee analisadas pela classificação hierárquica descente (CHD),as dos profissionais foram processadas pelo software Iramutece avaliadas pela CHD, acrescida pela análise de similitude; as palavras oriundas da TALP foram processadas pelo Tri-deux-mots e analisadas pela Análise Fatorial de Correspondência.Os resultados apontam em relação ao perfil das pessoas paraplégicas uma média de idade de 31,78 anos (DP = 8, 63), predominância do sexo masculino (70 %), escolaridade (50%) cursaram o Ensino Fundamental,37,5 % Ensino Médio e 12,5 Ensino Superior, estado civil, solteiro(77%); 80% apresentam como causa a paraplegia adquirida, tendo como causa maior acidentes automobilísticos(55%) e como nível neurológico principal a lombar (65%). O perfil dos profissionais de saúde predominância do sexo feminino (65%);tempo de formado entre 11 – 15 anos (45%) fisioterapeutas e psicólogos(35 % respectivamente) e que não falam sobre sexualidade com seu pacientes (70%). As Representações Sociais das pessoas com paraplegia acerca da sua sexualidade estão relacionada a notória resignificação da mesma, diferenciando sexo e sexualidade, esta última como um conceito mais amplo, que envolve relacionamento entre duas pessoas, atração, carinho, prazer e envolvimento sexual, onde o sexo não esta relacionado apenas ao prazer genital, também ligada a atração, desejo, ao feminino e ao masculino, no sentido de encontrar o amor. Neste sentido a sexualidade refere-se a uma pessoa como um todo, seus pensamentos, sentimentos, atitudes e comportamentos com relação a própria pessoa e aos outros., não deixando de levar em consideração a historicidade de cada um, pois esta compreensão subjetiva da sexualidade diz respeito a vivencia emocional, não podendo deixar de ser mediada pela sociedade, onde as pessoas com paraplegia depende do processo de socialização, experimentação, esclarecimento e informações a respeito de viverem a sua sexualidade. Os profissionais de saúde contiveram suas representações a cerca da sexualidade relacionadas também a um sentido mais amplo porem caracterizaram o aspecto fisiológico com determinante da mesma.
