Dinâmica das redes sociais de pessoas vivendo com HIV e aids

Resumo: | Introduction: There is a great individual impact in living with a chronicle condition as the HIV and AIDS infection, still surrounded by social obstacles that affect quality of life and the disease confrontation capacity, suggesting the confrontation resources requirement, more sensitive and less technocratic, like the social support networks. General Objective: To analyze the social network structure and function of people living with HIV and AIDS, searching for the comprehension, from the social relations dynamics established, its implication before the social and health demands of this group. Method: Qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study, based on the theoretical and methodological social network, developed at the outpatient of the reference state hospital for infectious and contagious diseases. For the empiric material production, were carried out in november and december 2019 semi structured interviews with 22 participants. The social networks were mapped and analysed in its structure and function, according to the theoretical approaching of networks. The reports had been analysed and applied the Content Analysis Technique, category modality. The research was approved by the Committee on Ethics in Research, according to Consolidated Position nº 3.667.428. Results: The primary networks of people living with HIV and AIDS present medium size and low density, constituted by strong relations with relatives, friends and colleagues. In the secondary network, the strong link was established with the clinics of the specialty outpatient. The primary network social support function has been exerted, principally, by friends and members of the family, providing emotional-affective, informative support daily and financial help. While the formal secondary network, composed by the specialized outpatient and other health and social institutions, provided emotional-affective support.advice and information, financial and medicines help and support through services, besides the informal secondary network informative support. Final Considerations: The support social networks are an important resource for the confrontation of HIV and AIDS, once enable the support to different requirements of these individuals along the disease’s course. This way, the knowledge of the networks and the potential of the support given, can help on strengthening relations that permeate the daily life of people living with HIV and AIDS, and in the orientation of inter-sector actions that enhance the attention network. |

Objetivo geral: Analisar a estrutura e função da rede social de pessoas vivendo com HIV e aids, buscando compreender, a partir das dinâmica das relações sociais estabelecidas, sua implicação frente às demandas sociais e de saúde desse grupo. Método: Estudo qualitativo, exploratório e descritivo fundamentado no referencial teórico-metodológico de rede social, desenvolvido no ambulatório do hospital estadual de referência para doenças infectocontagiosas. Para a produção do material empírico, foram realizadas em novembro e dezembro de 2019 entrevistas semiestruturadas com 22 participantes. As redes sociais foram mapeadas e analisadas em sua estrutura e função, conforme abordagem teórica de rede social. Os relatos foram analisados aplicando-se a técnica de análise de conteúdo, modalidade temática. A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa, conforme parecer consubstanciado nº 3.667.428. Resultados: As redes primárias das pessoas vivendo com HIV e aids apresentam tamanho médio e baixa densidade, constituídas por laços fortes com familiares, parentes, amigos e colegas. Na rede secundária, o vínculo forte foi estabelecido com os profissionais médicos do ambulatório especializado. A função de suporte social da rede primária foi exercida principalmente pelos familiares e amigos, oferecendo apoio do tipo emocional-afetivo, informativo, ajuda cotidiana e financeira. Enquanto a rede secundária formal, composta pelo ambulatório especializado e outras instituições de saúde e social, ofereceu suporte emocional-afetivo, conselhos e informação, auxílio financeiro e com medicamentos e suporte por meio de serviços, além de suporte informativo da rede secundária informal. Considerações Finais: As redes sociais de apoio se apresentam como importante recurso para o enfrentamento do HIV e aids, pois possibilita o suporte à diferentes necessidades desses indivíduos no curso da doença.
