Resumo: | This paper aims to contribute to the study of the influence of the type of adhesive mortar and the preparation of its base, in the adhesion strength to the ceramic coating, applied in plaster blocks. The analysis was attained by a pull-off test on the basis of the relevant brazilian’s technical standards. As study variables, gypsum blocks of standard and waterproofing type, with sanded and unsanded surface, were used, in which were laid ceramic plates with an application of three types of mortar (AC II and AC III), in addition to the waterproof glue gypsum. It was noted that when you have a standard block, sanding the surface of the block leads to an increase in adhesion strength. In relation to the waterproof block, the act of sanding the surface does not significantly increase the adhesion strength. Also, in general terms, the AC III mortar resulted in a higher bond strength applied over the standard type block. Regarding the hydrophobic plaster block, the use of glue plaster proved to be more effective. |
