Resumo: | The most frequent accidents in the construction industry, worldwide, are drop in level difference, electric shock and burial. The latter, linked to sanitation works for the most part, mainly due to the collapse or fall of soil in excavation and trenching works. This work aimed to analyze the risks of accidents at an urban drainage site, using performance indicators, and to propose preventive measures. The research also aims to collaborate with studies involving drainage works, since there is a shortage of theoretical foundations and applied research with this focus. The methodology used consisted of bibliographic research, collection and analysis of documents and field research in an urban drainage project. A check list was elaborated, based on the Regulatory Norms - NR, containing the options CO (according to), DES (disagreement) and GIR (Serious Imminent Risk) for each evaluated item. From the data obtained in the application of the check list, indicators were generated for quantitative and qualitative analysis of the work performance in terms of safety. It was identified that only 27% of the items evaluated were in accordance with the standards. For risk situations in the work activities, preventive and corrective measures were proposed, specific to the work being studied and generic for works of this nature. |
