Resumo: | This review demonstrated the application of some technologies for monitoring of confined environments, in order to guarantee greater safety to the workers who work in these spaces, through bibliographic research. Full original and review articles, theses and dissertations were included, as well as books that addressed the theme, published in different virtual libraries, without language restriction, published between 2010 and 2021. Thus, it was observed that among the numerous existing technologies, the ones that stand out are the use of wireless networks, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and inspection with drones. Wireless networks can be used for air quality monitoring, detection and control of gas leaks and robot-related accidents, with fall prevention. These in addition to the support and maintenance of equipment, among others. The industrial internet of things can integrate numerous devices provided with detection, identification, processing, communication resources; connecting man and machines, transferring and integrating knowledge between people and organizations. Finally, the use of drones in confined spaces is a solution to improve safety and efficiency in operations, as it makes it possible to access hard-to-reach places, capture images of welds, oxidation, wear, cleaning and corrosion. Performing thermographic inspections at relatively high temperatures, toxic or low oxygen areas. |

Performing thermographic inspections at relatively high temperatures, toxic or low oxygen areas.O presente estudo objetivou demonstrar a aplicação de algumas tecnologias para o monitoramento de ambientes confinados, com o intuito de garantir maior segurança ao trabalhador que atua nos referidos espaços, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica. Foram incluídos os artigos, completos originais e de revisão, as teses e as dissertações, além de livros que abordavam a temática, publicados em diferentes bibliotecas virtuais, sem restrição de idiomas, publicados entre 2010 e 2021. Desse modo, observou-se que dentre as inúmeras tecnologias existentes, as que mais se destacam são se o uso das redes sem fio (Wireless), a internet das coisas Industriais (Industrial Internet of Things - IIoT) e a inspeção com drones. As redes sem fio podem ser usadas para monitoramento da qualidade do ar, detecção e controle de vazamento de gás e acidentes relacionados a robôs, com prevenções de quedas. Além do suporte e a manutenção de equipamentos, entre outras. A internet das coisas industriais pode integrar inúmeros dispositivos providos de recursos de detecção, identificação, processamento, comunicação; conectando o homem e as máquinas, transferindo e integrando conhecimento entre pessoas e organizações. Por fim, o uso de drones em espaços confinados é uma solução para melhorar a segurança e a eficiência nas operações, uma vez que possibilita acessar locais de difícil chegada, captar imagens de soldas, oxidação, desgastes, limpeza e corrosão.
