Resumo: This article deals about the people participation in socio-political processes of Pernambuco between the Pernambucan Revolt of 1817 and the Confederation of the Equator. We sought to analyse some episodes of Pernambuco's history of the early 19th century and the political practices of the people in that context. The aim was to observe the people behaviour in questioning the construction of the incipient State and childish Brazilian nation. The main characters are widely spoken. This project also aimed to shed light to the anonymous people.

Buscou-se analisar alguns episódios da história pernambucana do início dos Oitocentos e as práticas políticas das gentes simples do povo nesse contexto. Pretendeu-se observar como se comportaram os populares nos questionamentos da construção do incipiente Estado e da pueril nação do Brasil. Muito se fala nos grandes personagens.
