SOFTCMMI: a prototype to help Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) to implement CMMI-DEV

Resumo: Many software development companies are not prepared to deal with uncertainties, which can contribute to failure in conducting software projects and even lead to early termination. Thus, this article presents the development of a prototype with the objective of offering best practices in activities and maintenance of services for the implementation of CMMI-DEV in Micro and Small Companies (MSEs) of software. To validate the prototype, Nielsen's heuristics were used, aiming at better usability. Based on the presented results, it was observed that SOFTCMMI can be easy to use and learn from the presence of Nielsen's heuristics.

Assim, este artigo apresenta o desenvolvimento de um protótipo com o objetivo de oferecer melhores práticas em atividades e manutenção de serviços para a implementação do CMMI-DEV em empresas Micro e Pequeno Porte (MPEs) de software. Para validar o protótipo utilizaram-se as heurísticas de Nielsen, visando uma melhor usabilidade.
