This article aims to explore the concept of cartography as a daily deviation in the city, based on practices, demonstrating the historical and cultural importance of Florianópolis, for which narrative cartographies were broadcast. Thus, through walking as an aesthetic practice, in an encounter with the Other, tracing shortcuts, detours, reinventing places and occupying spaces as we move on foot or by bicycle. Here, we highlight the importance of the landscape that legitimizes the buildings in ruins for the construction of identities and the need for their permanence, without a rejuvenation being sustainable. As, we build a reflection on the perception of the concept and the cultural landscape in which the concepts and processes of perception are revealed as resistances of these ruins of this place for a view of results as a new look.
