Resumo: Vila Itororó was inaugurated in 1922 and is located in the city of São Paulo. The architectural ensemble initially consisted of a mansion, rental houses and a swimming pool. Since 2013 it houses a Cultural Center. The current architectural configuration reveals the variety of uses and audiences over time; the urban changes of the city and the neighborhood; the oscillations between the profiles of the residents; and approaches on how to deal with the heritage of cities. These factors helped to forge, over a century, an architectural ensemble that mixes buildings already restored, works in progress and apparently abandoned structures. The article presents a textual and photographic narrative based on a visit carried out in 2022, in order to record attributes and perceptions of a heritage marked by the performance of time.

La configuración arquitectónica actual revela la variedad de usos y públicos a lo largo del tiempo; los cambios urbanísticos de la ciudad y el barrio; las oscilaciones entre los perfiles de los residentes; y enfoques sobre cómo tratar el patrimonio de las ciudades. Estos factores ayudaron a forjar, a lo largo de un siglo, un conjunto arquitectónico que mezcla edificios ya restaurados, obras en proceso y estructuras aparentemente abandonadas. O conjunto arquitetônico inicialmente era formado por um palacete, casas de aluguel e uma piscina. Desde 2013 abriga um Centro Cultural. A configuração arquitetônica atual revela a variedade de usos e de públicos ao longo do tempo; as mudanças urbanas da cidade e do bairro; as oscilações entre os perfis dos moradores; e as abordagens sobre como lidar com o patrimônio das cidades. Esses fatores ajudaram a forjar, ao longo de um século, um conjunto arquitetônico que mescla edificações já restauradas, obras em andamento e estruturas aparentemente abandonadas.
