ACCESSIBILITY BY ACTIVE MODE AND THE URBAN INSERTION OF SOCIAL HOUSING: a systemic analysis applied to Goiânia

Resumo: | Based on the pronounced relevance of the active mode for urban mobility in order to enable accessibility through more sustainable modes and to reduce dependence on motorized transport, and the history of the socio-spatial segregation of the ethnic classes in Brazil, this work deals with the connection between the spatial structure of the city and active displacements. As a methodology, an analysis procedure was developed from the perspective of the systemic approach with the aim of examining the urban embedding of social housing in relation to accessibility in the active mode. The procedure was validated with application in Goinia, state of Gois, where the socio-spatial separation of the popular classes was verified. This work represents a theoretical and methodological contribution to the analysis of temporal and spatial accessibility through active modes, based on the new scientific paradigm of General Systems Theory. Apart from that, it reinforces the need for planning and management to be integrated as the city as a whole has dynamic, complex and interdependent relationships. |

Como metodologia, foi desenvolvido um procedimento, a partir da visão sistêmica, para investigar a inserção urbana da habitação social em relação à acessibilidade por modo ativo às centralidades urbanas. O procedimento foi validado com aplicação em Goiânia, Goiás, onde se constatou a segregação socioespacial.
