Resumo: Resumo: A partir do final da década de 1970 foram desenvolvidas abordagens que pretendiam inserir o sujeito na teoria social. Apesar dos notórios avanços visando à superação da dicotomia entre estrutura e agente, ainda foram mantidas outras oposições, pois tais perspectivas não incluíam os objetos nas relações sociais. Assim, buscando superar essas dicotomias, foram desenvolvidas perspectivas teóricas preocupadas com o papel dos elementos materiais na rede de relações, focando na agência dos objetos. Este trabalho discorrerá sobre esses estudos com o intuito de verificar se eles fornecem uma superação/dissolução das dicotomias entre objetividade X subjetividade e materialidade X imaterialidade.Abstract: Since the late 1970's, approaches were developed which intended to insert the subject within social theory. Despite the notorious advances towards overcoming the dichotomy between structure and agent, other oppositions were still kept, since these perspectives did not include objects in social relations. Thus, seeking to overcome these dichotomies, theoretical perspectives concerned with the role of material elements in the network of relationships were developed, focusing on the agency of objects. This paper will discuss these works with the intention of verifying whether these provide an overcoming/dissolution of dichotomies between objectivity X subjectivity and materiality X immateriality
