Resumo: RESUMO:Este artigo propõe-se a analisaralgumas categorias, com o fito de elaborar uma reflexão sobre a memória e o patrimônio urbano: destacadamente, atém-se às categorias tempo e espaço.Propõe uma categoria de síntese: cronotopo.Toma Paul Ricoeur comoreferencial parapensar estas categorias. Passa então à reflexão sobre memória e identidade. ABSTRACT: This article aimsto analyse someconcepts concerning memory and urban cultural heritage: namely, the categories oftime and space. The articles indicates a synthesis category: chronotopos. Paul Ricouer is the theoretical and philosophical reference to think about these categories. Afterwards, the article handles with the subject of memory and identity.
