POTENCIALIDADES TURÍSTICAS E DE DIVULGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA DA PALEONTOLOGIA E ZOOARQUEOLOGIA: NOVAS FORMAS DE DIVULGAÇÃO DE NOSSA PRÉ-HISTÓRIA E CULTURA LOCAIS

RESUMO:Os municípios da região sul do Estado trazem tradicionalmente, uma riquíssima bagagem histórica face suas estratégicas participações no palco de eventos que vieram a constituir a atual “forma geopolítica” do Rio Grande do Sul. Neste contexto, parece bem claro ter ficado arraigado na cultura de nossas gerações, o hábito de valorizar nosso passado, como forma de firmar as nossas atuais tradições. O gaúcho é nacionalmente reconhecido como um povo aguerrido, marcado por um passado de lutas e um presente de forte manutenção de suas tradições. Dentro deste pensamento, faz-se necessário viabilizar para a população de Pelotas e região, novas formas de entender a nossa história e pré-história regional e do Estado. A zooarqueologia e a paleontologia tornam-se neste sentido, fortes linhas temáticas, que podem dar aos nossos espaços culturais locais, uma nova forma de entender a evolução de nossas comunidades. Do ponto de vista da Zooarqueologia, a região de Pelotas, possui um excelente material. Até o momento, trabalhos preliminares de triagem do conteúdo zooarqueológico dos casarões da região central de Pelotas, vem constituindo um marco inédito, onde inicia-se uma série de interpretações relativas ao conhecimento da fauna urbana da época das charqueadas. A partir de estudos mais criteriosos, será possível entender como era a convivência da sociedade da época com a fauna urbana e silvestre, no sentido de domesticação, cultura alimentar dentre outros. Do ponto de vista da Paleontologia Pelotas, dada a natureza de sua história geológica, infelizmente não possui importantes afloramentos paleontológicos, por outro lado, possui museus, responsáveis pela curadoria de importantes acervos nesta área. Neste sentido, é possível unir o rico acervo de informações referentes a zooarqueologia e a paleontologia e através dos museus e demais espaços culturais, divulgá-las cientificamente à sociedade local e internacional, como forma de obtenção e enriquecimento de diferenciadas fontes de “cultura turística”. ABSTRACT: The southern region a county of the State posses traditionaly, a rich historic contents for these estrategical participations in events wich to established the present geopolitic form of the Rio Grande do Sul State. In this context, is posible to understand the cultural behavior of our generations, in the valorization of our past, in the strengthening process of present traditions. The gaucho is nationaly well-known witha courageous people, recorded to past of struggles and a present time of the intense maintenance of yours traditions. In this thinking, to become nescessary to viability by Pelotas population and near region, new options to understand our regional and state history and pre historic. The zooarchaeology and the paleontology to become thematic strong lines able to give of local cultural site a new manner to understand the our communities evolution. By the vision of zooarchaeology, Pelotas city, to posses excelent material. As yet preliminary works of zooarchaeology contents of the Pelotas owner’s house, go a creating unpublished mark in to the urban fauna knowledge of the charqueadas time. Aferwards wises researches , will be possible to understand the familiarity of epoch society withthe urban and sylvestral fauna, to domestication, feed culture and others. By the paleontological vision, the fossil history of Pelotas city is very poor in terms of paleontologic outcrops, because the features of local geology formation. The other hand, Pelotas posses any museus responsibles to guardianship of important heaps in this area. This way is possible to unite the information rich heap concerning zooarchaeology and paleontology and through the museums and the others culturals sites, to divulge in local and international society, as way to obtain and enrichment of the diferencial soucers of the "turistic culture".
